Retired professor of ancient Greek & the NT. An ordained Baptist minister. more

Since 1974 and to 2008 I was professor of ancient Greek and the New Testament. 1974 -1997 at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas, and 1998 - 2008, professor at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs North Caroline. GWU is one of the large Baptist universities in NC. Upon taking retirement my wife and I moved to Cologne Germany to pastor the International Baptist Church of Cologne, which we did for the agreed upon two year contract. In September 2010 we moved to Santa Ana, Costa Rica in order to continue our volunteer work with the very large IBC church in San Jose, the capital. We weren't staff members but assisted the pastor and other church staff with different responsibilities. In 2015, my health began declining and the decision was made to move to the Baptist Retirement Community in San Angelo, Texas. My continuing ministry since 1999 has been the expansion of my website cranfordville.com as a massive location for Bible study. With severe health limitations now, this is the anchor point for continued ministry..
